Lots of Gnosh News
There's quite a bit going on in Gnosh land, so let's get right to it.
Gnosh was picked as one of the finalists in the Gannon University SBDC/Ben Franklin Big Idea Contest. We presented our business plan and idea to a panel of judges today, and received this award for being named a finalist. Even if we don't get the award, to be picked out of 25 submissions as a finalist is nice. If we ever have an office, this is so going on a prominent shelf.
On November 8, I spoke at the Carnegie Mellon Library Digital LIbrary Colloquium about Gnosh. You can see a couple of details about it here. It was nice to speak with some great people about Gnosh and show them some of the things we're building into an educational version of Gnosh. They had lots of great ideas and feedback.
Finally, we've been adding and cleaning up some of the services inside Gnosh. Today, I'm proud to say we've added SearchVideo.com to the video search area and BBC News to the news area. Both are welcome additions.
